You still get the really powerful effects like +2 max size of heavy infantry, which is not exclusive to viking heavy infantry but also things like house guards. <- By going to war and sieging a county you literally get double the effect on the entire county, not just 1 holding. <- You still get this bonus for sieging so you don't lose all that much. +20% Chance to gain a prisoner after a raid.<- Losing this when losing the ability to raid doesn't matter as this is only relevant for raiding and does nothing else. The things you loose aren't all that important to be fair. This still makes for a strong legacy focused on warfare to get bonuses.
